By using EV Smart services, users agree to these Payment Terms.
1. Payment Methods
Users may pay for services through supported payment methods including:
- Online payments processed through authorized payment providers such as Razorpay
- UPI payments
- Debit or credit cards
- Net banking
- Wallets (where supported)
- Cash payments (where available)
Available payment methods may vary depending on region, service type, or operational conditions.
2. Payment Authorization
By initiating a payment through EV Smart, users authorize:
- EV Smart
- Authorized payment providers
- Banking or financial institutions
to process the transaction for applicable charges related to rides, parcel deliveries, EV charging services, cancellations, waiting fees, or other operational charges.
Users are responsible for:
- Maintaining valid payment methods
- Ensuring sufficient balance or credit availability
- Reviewing pricing before confirming transactions
3. Pricing & Final Charges
Users agree to pay the final applicable charges calculated based on actual service usage including, where applicable:
- Ride distance and duration
- Waiting charges
- Tolls or parking fees
- Parcel handling charges
- EV charging session fees
- Reservation or cancellation charges
Displayed estimates are indicative and final pricing may vary depending on operational conditions.
4. Failed Transactions
In case of payment failures:
- Services may be cancelled or restricted
- Amounts may still be temporarily debited due to banking or processing delays
- Duplicate charges may occur temporarily in rare technical situations
Users should contact support if discrepancies occur.
Refunds or reversals, where applicable, remain subject to verification and banking timelines.
5. Outstanding Payments & Dues
Any unpaid dues or outstanding balances may:
- Be added to future bookings or transactions
- Result in temporary account restrictions
- Prevent access to certain services until resolved
EV Smart reserves the right to recover outstanding operational dues where legally permitted.
6. Third-Party Payment Processing
Payments are processed through authorized third-party providers including Razorpay and related banking or financial systems.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EV Smart is not responsible for:
- Payment gateway failures
- Banking delays
- UPI outages
- Network interruptions
- Card issuer restrictions
- Financial institution processing errors
Users may also be subject to the terms and conditions of third-party payment providers.
7. Fraud Prevention & Security
EV Smart reserves the right to:
- Block suspicious transactions
- Conduct fraud prevention reviews
- Temporarily hold transactions for verification
- Restrict accounts involved in suspicious activities
Fraudulent or abusive activities may include:
- Unauthorized payment usage
- Fake transactions
- Refund abuse
- Chargeback abuse
- Promotional misuse
- Identity manipulation
Accounts involved in fraud may be suspended, terminated, or reported to authorities where legally required.
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
Users are encouraged to contact EV Smart support before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes.
Initiating false or abusive chargebacks after receiving services may result in:
- Account restrictions
- Suspension
- Recovery actions where legally permitted
EV Smart reserves the right to dispute chargebacks where services were successfully delivered.
9. Taxes & Government Charges
Applicable taxes, government levies, convenience fees, or regulatory charges may be included in the total payable amount where applicable.
Users are responsible for reviewing displayed payment details before confirmation.
10. Payment Records & Receipts
Users may receive:
- Digital receipts
- Transaction confirmations
- Invoices
- WhatsApp or email notifications
through available communication channels.
Users are responsible for reviewing payment confirmations and reporting discrepancies within a reasonable timeframe.
11. Service Interruptions
Payment systems may occasionally be affected by:
- Technical failures
- Internet connectivity issues
- Banking outages
- Third-party service interruptions
- Government or regulatory restrictions
EV Smart does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of payment systems or transaction processing.

EV Smart may update these Payment Terms from time to time.
Updated versions may be published within the app, website, or official communication channels.
Continued use of EV Smart services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
