Welcome to EV Smart Captain ("EV Smart", "Company", "we", "our", or "us").
This Privacy Policy explains how EV Smart collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information relating to drivers using the EV Smart Captain application.
This document also explains how background location data is collected and used while drivers are on duty.

a. Driver Personal Information

EV Smart Captain collects precise location information to support:

Location information may be collected while the application is actively used and while background tracking is enabled during duty operations.
c. Background Location Information
The EV Smart Captain application collects location data in the background while drivers are online, available for assignments, or engaged in active rides or deliveries.
Background location collection supports:

Background location may continue to be collected when:
- The application is minimized
- The device screen is locked

Disabling required location permissions may limit or prevent the use of EV Smart Captain services.

By providing a mobile number and using EV Smart Captain services, drivers consent to receiving necessary service-related communications through WhatsApp.

Drivers should never share OTPs or verification codes with any person.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for:

The application may request exemption from battery optimization settings to ensure uninterrupted ride allocation, tracking, navigation, and safety functionality while drivers remain on duty.

EV Smart Captain is intended only for individuals aged 18 years or older.
We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
